Day 26

Decided to sleep in this morning. Got started and headed out from Kitwanga back on the Cassiar Hwy toward Prince George.  After a short distance we started to note a change in the landscape. The drive was pretty, but not quite as spectacular as some of the others.  Notice a lot more cleared farm acreage.  Started to see cows again and a few hay fields.   Drove by Houston BC, where they had the world’s largest fly fishing pole. We stopped in Vanderhoof and saw some restored buildings.  The log cabin is about 110 years old.   We then went over to a wildlife refuge.  Only the Canadian geese had come in so far, a few more weeks until the big migration  starts.  We got on the Yellowhead Highway and entered Prince George.  A fairly large city 160,000 in the area, and have just about every store you need. Got to our RV park around 6 pm, rested a while, started on the blog.  I’m even watching the Rangers play right now.

ANDY’S REPORT:
WOW, the peeps slept in a little bit today. Nice.  We got everything loaded up and hit the road.  No mermaid lady here. Mom made some breakfast sandwiches, got a few nibbles.  Started down the road. Mom and dad got excited when they saw something on the road that said Houston, I even perked up, but to no good,  not the right smell yet.  We stopped at some place that had a lot flying birds, too far away to chase, so I got to walk around and smell the grass.  The peeps then stopped and got some sandwiches. We ate them as we drove the moving house.  Good traveling eats.  Got to the place with lots of moving houses. Had a few cousins talking loudly, but I paid no heed.  Dad got me back to the moving house and I’m ready for bed. Goodnight.
Who turned on the heat?

Houston? Not the same smell!

I smell birds!
